The City of Seattle has a business license Tax. Seattle businesses with revenues of less than $50,000 are not required remit any tax payment. However, an annual return is still required.

Anyone "engaging in business activities" within Seattle is required to obtain a Seattle business license whether or not a place of business is maintained within the Seattle city limits. Licensed businesses are sent either an annual or quarter Seattle business license tax return. You must file your tax return even if no tax is due.
